Paint correction + sealant
Light swirling and bonded road contamination were dulling the red paint, particularly around frequently washed and handled areas. Correction was followed by a sealant and cabin clean.
Condition & brief
The bonnet and upper doors showed the most visible wash marks. Tight recesses, trim junctions and panel edges called for a different approach from the larger painted surfaces.
Method & decisions
Chemical decontamination came before polishing. A test section set the correction level, with smaller pads used where access allowed and hand cleaning around trim. We inspected the paint after removing polish residue, then applied a sealant.
Less haze across the high-contact panels.
Corrected panels showed a cleaner reflection without the light haze seen at arrival. Edges were not subjected to repeated cutting passes, and remaining deeper defects were documented at handover.
The owner received a wash routine for the sealed paint and guidance on keeping mitts and drying towels free of grit.
