Correction + ceramic protection
A regularly driven 911 with fine wash marring across the curved rear quarters. The job combined two-stage correction with ceramic protection for the painted surfaces.
Condition & brief
Inspection lighting showed a network of fine wash marks and a few deeper isolated scratches. The owner wanted clearer metallic reflections and easier routine washing, with paint preservation taking priority over removing every mark.
Method & decisions
We recorded depth readings on suitable panels and tested a small section before selecting the cutting and refining stages. Smaller pads followed the rear-quarter curves. After residue removal and a second inspection, the painted surfaces were coated and left to cure.
Clearer reflections; deeper marks retained.
Fine wash marring was reduced and the metallic flake read more clearly under inspection lighting. Isolated scratches that required further material removal were left in place and shown to the owner.
Collection included first-wash instructions and a separate-tool routine for wheels and bodywork.
