Follow the curing instructions

Use the first-wash date supplied with your coating or film installation. Different products have different curing requirements. If weather or contamination creates a problem before that date, ask the installer which cleaning method is suitable.

Wash on a cool surface

Work out of direct sunlight. Rinse loose dirt thoroughly before a contact wash. Clean wheels with separate tools, then work from upper body panels downwards using a suitable shampoo and a clean wash mitt. Keep checking the mitt for trapped grit.

Dry without added pressure

Use a clean, soft drying towel and minimal pressure. Work panel by panel. Dedicated drying air can help around mirrors and trims where water collects. Avoid rubbing a stubborn mark with the drying towel; assess and clean it separately.

Keep the routine repeatable

Avoid automatic brush washes and keep mitts and towels clean between uses. Attend to bird droppings promptly with a suitable gentle method. Inspect film edges during washing and contact the installer if one lifts. Regular cleaning should not require increasingly aggressive products.
